For pre-order products, there will be a 20 USD DEPOSIT charged when you place the order. An email will be sent to remind you to come back and fulfill the order, when the products are in stock. Once the balance is paid, we will ship the product to you within 2 "working days" when it arrives in the stockroom.
[IMPORTANT] We kindly request for your assistance and clear the balance in SEVEN days, once you receive the reminder. Your order might be automatically cancelled and the deposit is NOT refundable, if it cannot be fulfilled in the deadline. We are sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you in advance for your cooperation.
The prices listed are for the products only, and the shipping costs will be calculated when you check out the items in the shopping cart. Other charges such as taxes, or additional fees generated along with any modification of your orders are NOT covered in the payment. You may be requested for extra payments for such charges if there are any.
We use ChungHwa/Taiwan Post Service (EMS or regular Air) or FedEx to ship worldwide. The shipping costs for which you pay on the website will be for the shipping services from anyone of them above, depending on the location of the delivery.
Different shipping rates are applied to services provided by DHL, UPS, or any other couriers not mentioned. Please contact us (email@example.com) if you are taking anyone of them in consideration.
If you are located in China, HongKong, or Macau, we also use SF Express as an alternative in these areas.
Your order(s) will be shipped to you in 2 "working days" after the payment for the product(s) is made. You may expect different shipping days to receive your order(s) depends on the services which are provided by different carriers:
(1) Regular Air via ChungHwa/Taiwan Post Service: 15 working days for Asian countries or 25 working days+ for other areas in the world.
(2) EMS via ChungHwa/Taiwan Post Service: 3-5 working days for Asia countries, or 5-7 working days for other areas in the world.
(3) FEDEX or DHL: 3-5 working days worldwide.
[NOTE1] The days may vary upon the customs clearance and the carrier workload, which the COVID element needs to be considered in. You may need to provide personal information to your customs officers to expedite the procedure, so we kindly request for your attention to the parcel(s) when it is on the way to you.
[NOTE2] For a pre-order product, we ship in the order of the date when their balance is cleared. If you consider cancellation of your pre-order and in exchange for buying the product when it's set as "in-stock", the product will be shipped to you after all the pre-orders are fulfilled. This type of orders will be excluded from "shipping in 2 working days" policy, and the deposit of your previous pre-order is NOT refundable, either.
The order(s) will be shipped to you when the product is in stock and the balance is cleared. You can have the same expectation of shipping days for the pre-ordered product(s) to arrive as in-stock ones.
[IMPORTANT] For a pre-order product, we ship in the order of the date when their balance were cleared. If you consider cancellation of your pre-order in exchange for buying the product when it's set as "in-stock", the product will be shipped to you AFTER all the pre-orders are fulfilled. This type of orders will be excluded from "shipping in 2 working days" policy, and the deposit of your previous pre-order is NOT refundable, either.

Given that import policies are complicated and different from country to country, Asmus Toys is not involved in any tax charges, neither covers for them. The range of the charge, though, is around 20 - 70 USD, which depends on the customs officers.
Please be reminded that all parcels to EU countries will be charged for VAT, no matter what values are declared on the items. More details are explained here: https://ec.europa.eu/commission/presscorner/detail/en/ip_21_3098
If Paypal is your payment method, we highly recommend that you ONLY use the same shipping address that is registered with your Paypal account. Please be reminded that we will not ship your products to a re-shipper, nor our buyer protection policy and after-sale service be extended to the parcels which are sent to a re-shipper.
We can help modify your shipping address before we ship out your order(s). Additional charges may occur for the request once the product has left the stockroom, however. So please understand such request may be declined since we are not responsible for paying to make the change.
We also kindly request for your assistance to amend your shipping address and the full name (nicknames or abbreviations are not good ideas) of the recipient up to date with your Paypal account, if you are planning to use Paypal to make your payment. we may cancel the order if the address or the name is not accurate, which leads to a possible failure of delivery.
For years we've done lowering the declared value to 100 USD. It's getting difficult to do so, however, when international shipping is getting more common for people around the world and thus the customs over the world are also paying more attention on it. Given that situation, there will be a slight change on the value, which will be 150 USD, as of August 1st, 2022, to expedite the shipping properly and to ensure the parcels arrive without any unnecessary notice from the customs. (Please understand that lowering the declared value is not a proper way to avoid the tax obligation, so it is no doubt risky to do so.)
We sincerely appreciate your kind understanding, and you are welcome to inform us any other requests for your shipment as always.
For in-stock products, we will grant a full refund if you send the request before the product leave our stockroom. We might grant a partial refund, however, if you decide to cancel the order but the product has left our stockroom. The shipping cost for return will be deducted from the refund.
For pre-order products, we accept to refund the deposit. However if the products arrive to our stockroom prior to your request of cancellation, then the deposit will no longer be available to refund.
Please send an email to us (firstname.lastname@example.org) and we will ask for more shipping details from the carriers. If the parcel is confirmed missing, we will grant you a full refund.
A shipment to a re-shipper is not covered in the parcel-missing warranty, since it can be complicated to clarified the shipper liability for the loss.
Please send an email to us (email@example.com) with photos / videos to help explain the defected parts of the product. After we review the case, here are some solutions for your reference:
[Tips for Repair/Adjustment] We may offer some ideas for you to try to fix the problem at home.
[Free Replacement] If the defected part is confirmed for replacement, we will send it to you without further charges. Please be reminded that, in some circumstances, we may request for your assistance to return the defected part. You may need to cover the shipping cost for returning to us, and in exchange we will cover the fees for shipping it back the replacement back to you. [Return the Product] If the problem is unable to be fixed nor replaced, we are very sorry but may request for your help return the product to us. We will grant a full refund to you when we confirm receipt of the product.
[IMPORTANT] The BOX is deemed as a protection of the product, not a part of the product. It is not covered by the warranty, and we are not responsible to send a replacement of the box if it is damaged during the delivery. It can be considered for a replacement, however, if you agree with the extra charge to cover the shipping cost.
Please accept our sincere apology if you have problems with your shopping experience. Here are some conditions we would love to remind you beforehand, which may help save your valuable time on communication and request for a refund successfully:
1. The deposit of a pre-order product is refundable if you send the request for cancellation BEFORE the product arrive in our stockroom.
2. You can receive a full refund if the product is broken and cannot be replaced nor be fixed.
3. You can receive a full refund if the product is confirmed missing by the carriers.
[NOTE] If you make a payment via Paypal, 5.6% of your payment will be deducted from the refund, since it is paid to Paypal. Paypal made adjustments on their refund policy in 2020 and decided the transaction fee as non-refundable. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
We are sorry for the unacceptable import taxes which might happen randomly while it is involved with international shipments. To give up the parcels, however, is NOT granted for a refund, since the order is fulfilled and the delivery is deemed successful.
[IMPORTANT] We sincerely request for your kind understanding that we reserve the right to decide if we will accept your next purchase(s). Doing online shopping means the buyers and the sellers need to trust each other, and abandoning parcels is an absolute deal-breaker.
